Bio

Amanda R.L. Bartlett is an associate attorney at Advanced Legal Planning PLLC, where she helps clients with guardianships, Medicaid planning, special needs trusts, and estate planning. She brings a thoughtful and client-centered approach to every case, focusing on helping families feel informed and supported through life’s major transitions. Amanda is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and an affiliate member of the National Elder Law Foundation (NELF). Amanda externed with the Idaho Office of Administrative Hearings, where she worked on cases involving statutory interpretation, public benefits eligibility, and agency decision-making. As a law student at the University of Idaho College of Law, Amanda also represented clients through the Family Justice Clinic. She advocated for survivors in protection order hearings and supported families navigating custody mediation. Her work in the clinic earned her the Spirit of the Clinic Award for her strong advocacy and compassionate, solution-focused approach. Before practicing law, Amanda spent over a decade analyzing public programs for the Idaho Legislature. Her background in policy makes her especially effective at identifying gaps, solving problems, and designing plans that meet both legal and practical needs. She has extensive knowledge of how state government works and uses that insight to help clients navigate complex systems with greater confidence and clarity. Outside the office, she enjoys being outdoors and cheering for her kids and family at events and tournaments.
