I was a nurse for years. The time came where I had to personally take care of my mom and mother-in-law at my house, both starting with dementia first and then both being diagnosed with Alzheimer's in my home for 10=15 years, I had to place one of them in a facility at 10 years due to her physical aggression. The other one stayed longer.
